Unlike paint, which simply covers the surface, patina is created through a chemical process that oxidizes the metal itself. By applying specific chemicals, the metal reacts and develops a range of natural pigments and hues, resulting in colors and textures that are unique to the metal and the treatment. This process highlights the metal’s true character, creating rich, elegant finishes.

The process begins with carefully cleaning, sanding, and polishing the metal to prepare it for color. Using a combination of chemicals and sealants, I create custom hand-crafted oxidized finish. This process  can range from turning steel blue or black, to transforming it to look like copper or brass. It can involve aging copper to it's natural green or graining it brown to on the look of aged wood. Stainless, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, silver, hot and cold rolled steel, you name it and I can take it though an entire spectrum of color all while preserving the metal’s natural shine.

Because of the nature of this finish, every inch receives careful, hands-on attention throughout a multi-step process, ensuring a high-quality, one-of-a-kind result.
